We’re beyond excited to share that Tribal Conquest has been featured in Issue 134 of Wargames Soldiers & Strategy! One of our favourite magazines for keeping up to date with tabletop wargaming.
You can find the full write-up on a double-page spread on pages 74 and 75. The review was written by Joe Mealy, who played alongside a chap named Matt.
One standout point in their review was the Shaman mechanics, which they found particularly compelling. The ability to cast spells during different points during the round created plenty of strategic opportunities, and they enjoyed how different spells required careful consideration to use effectively. They also mentioned how troop choices and tactical adjustments could make for even more exciting games with greater variety.
Overall, they had a blast playing and saw massive potential for the game’s future, mentioning how it could expand with new content and mechanics down the line. Their positive feedback was a joy to read, and we couldn’t be happier with their experience!
